On May 23, 2021, the Second Gulf Conference launched & organized by Dhofar University, begins under the title “Corona pandemic and sustainable development in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries” “Implications and opportunities for innovation”
Through the two-day Zoom program, the conference discussed highlighting the role of researchers and thinkers in managing this crisis and their growing role in spreading awareness among societies and how to bring visions between researchers to build human thought based on innovation and the exchange of knowledge and experiences to serve humanity and achieve the desired sustainable development in light of the Covid 19 pandemic. .
Captain Dr. Abdul-Amir Al-Faraj, General Manager of Al-Faraj Group of Companies, presented a working paper entitled Corona pandemic and its impact on maritime transport in the Arabian Gulf region, in which he discussed the role of maritime disputes in the weak economy of countries and the importance of finding maritime arbitration centers to settle maritime disputes.
